This trail wanders a hilly course through open fields with good views of the valley, through wooded areas teeming with wildlife, and into forests on the northern fringe of the Custer-Gallatin National Forest. Be prepared for significant amounts of climbing on this one! To reach the trailhead, take Sourdough Road
