{"id":4679,"date":"2016-08-15T11:27:13","date_gmt":"2016-08-15T17:27:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/winddrinkers.org\/trailhead\/?p=4679"},"modified":"2016-08-16T11:34:46","modified_gmt":"2016-08-16T17:34:46","slug":"bswd-fun-run","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/winddrinkers.org\/trailhead\/bswd-fun-run\/","title":{"rendered":"BSWD Fun Run"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi all,<\/p>\n<p>First, congratulations to everyone that ran the <a href=\"http:\/\/winddrinkers.org\/trailhead\/races\/ridge-run\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bridger Ridge Run<\/a> this week end, thanks to all those that came out to help, and thanks to all those that came out on course to support the runners. \u00a0What a great community event!<\/p>\n<p>This week&#8217;s run will be our second <a href=\"http:\/\/winddrinkers.org\/trailhead\/event\/bear-canyon\/\" target=\"_blank\">dog run at Bear Canyon<\/a>. \u00a0We will meet Wednesday at 6:30 for a 1, 3, and 5, mile option. \u00a0To get there, you can either take the interstate or the Bozeman Trail Road out to Mt Ellis Academy, by the KOA Campground 5 miles east of Bozeman. \u00a0Then turn south on Bear Canyon road. \u00a0The road will continue for 3.5 miles to the parking area.<\/p>\n<p>The next big event for us is the <a href=\"http:\/\/winddrinkers.org\/trailhead\/event\/john-colter-run\/\" target=\"_blank\">John Colter Run<\/a> on September 17th. This run is approximately 7 miles of mostly trails and two great water crossings, We will have live music, great prizes, good food, and lots of fun. We still have about 100 open spots, so be sure to get signed up!
