Middle Cottonwood

DETAILS:

Run begins at the Middle Cottonwood trailhead. From downtown, take Main west to 7th. Take 7th north out of town, following as it turns into I-90 Frontage. Turn right on Springhill Rd, take Springhill 1.5 miles north then turn right on Sypes Canyon Road across from Springhill Sod Farm sign. Take Springhill 1.5 miles then take a hard left on Summer Cutoff Road. Follow Summer Cutoff 1.1 miles until it intersects Saddle Mountain Road. Turn right on Saddle Mountain and go 1.5 mi on Saddle Mt Rd to end. Turn left on Forest Service road to Middle Cottonwood trailhead (watch for trailhead signs).

Club Support Volunteer Roles

Looking for Website Designers and Developers

Our old website has been held together with duct tape and bailing wire for years!  The Board is looking to revamp the site, and we definitely need some innovative and skilled website design and development skills on the team.  We will be starting an ad-hoc committee to look at how the site should be updated, over the next few months, with the idea to implement the new design after our busy summer running season slows down a bit – probably in the Fall of 2023.

Looking for help with selecting our Scholarship winners!

Our Scholarship Committee is looking for volunteers to join them for the purpose of reviewing scholarship applications and selecting the winners!  These scholarships are designed for local high school runners who display athletic and community involvement prowess, and are looking for support in post-secondary education.  This effort is concentrated in the first few months of the year, with applications due in mid-April, and awards being given out in early May.  More on the Scholarship program is available here.
