Bon Appetite Run
On a nice Fall morning, we met at the Elks Club and explored routes of our choice (many among the Highland Glen and Peet’s Hill/Burke Park trail systems). Then we headed off to a wonderful breakfast at MSU’s Rendezvous Dining Hall!
Our participants this year are listed below:
Jim Banks Turkey Trot
Our mild Autumn weather continued to hold for this year’s Turkey Trot. We had a variety of successes in predicting our run times – those Spirit Hills always confound even our best pacers!
Our 3 event winners this year for closest predicted time were Emmett Veca, Bob Eichenberger, and Randy Oostema, who were each awarded a turkey for their prediction accuracy! Our random-draw turkey winners were Nathaniel Ohler and Billy Dutton!
Jingle Bell Jog
A nice, chilly morning and remnants of the biggest snow yet this year didn’t hinder our runners from a great day on a new set of courses! After the run, our participants enjoyed hot drinks and cookies! Thanks to Gallatin Valley Land Trust for allowing us to set up on their lawn, and providing access to their bathroom facilities – we’re happy to work with GVLT, who provides us great trails to enjoy while out running!
Resolution Run (Fat Ass 50K)

Froze Nose Run

We returned to our traditional campus-area courses this year, starting from in front of Bridger Brewing! Runners set time targets to shoot for in next month’s Handicap Run!
Handicap Run

Several runners came out on a snowy morning and hit the pavement around the MSU campus. Congratulations to Kristin Wilmer, who improved her run time from last month’s Froze Nose run by 28%!!
