SWEET PEA RUN

A Bozeman running tradition.

It’s back! A Bozeman running tradition, The Sweet Pea Run, is excited for another great race.

The Sweet Pea Run 5K/10K will be a virtual run this year.  We didn’t feel like it was safe and feasible to hold the race as traditionally planned, but we are excited to offer a virtual event.  You may run a version of the course(see maps – courses a bit altered) or you may run anywhere, anytime Saturday, Aug 1 through Monday, August 10th.  Print a virtual bib if you wish and then post your results to the runsignup page to be eligible for raffle prizes.  Look for cheers and words of encouragement written in chalk along the course if you choose to run it.  The Sweet Pea Run has been a liaison event to the Sweet Pea Festival for many years.  Funds from the race help support the Big Sky Wind Drinkers Running Club to host free community fun runs throughout the year.  We also give money to other organizations including THRIVE’s Girl’s on the Run program, We hope to still be able to make a contribution this year to the program from the race and you will also get an opportunity to donate separately when you register.  T-shirts are available for an additional cost.  This year, we will be either delivering shirts or having a pick-up at a central location TBA after August 10th. If you do not live in Bozeman, we will mail your t-shirt for a small fee.  We hope that you will join us this year!!!  To register, go to:https://runsignup.com/Race/MT/Bozeman/SweetPeaRun

The money raised from this race helps support the BSWD to be great stewards of running and other related causes in Bozeman.

Remember, please leave the dogs at home and if you are bringing a stroller, please line up toward the back.
